Within UWA students are encouraged to make contact with the Queer Department which provides social and supportive networks for those on campus who identify their sexuality as alternative. The Wilde Alliance is the social arm of ASID and can be contacted at wilde@guild.uwa.edu.au or by telephone on 6488 3902.

The Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service (GLCS) is a charitable organisation dedicated to serving the gay and lesbian community in WA. Information is available about events and community services relevant to gay and lesbian people.

The WA AIDS Council, established in 1985, leads the Western Australian community in the provision of a wide range of services in the prevention of HIV, and the treatment and care of people living with HIV/AIDS.

On the outskirts of Northbridge is a safe space for young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning people to meet, chat, hang out and access information.

The International Foundation for Androgynous Studies Inc
The International Foundation for Androgynous Studies has been established as an incorporated body to advance the health, well being, basic rights, social equality and self-determination of those persons who are physically or psychologically androgynous, namely, gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transvestites, transgendered, transsexual and intersex persons.
